The first full moon of fall — the harvest moon — is here. Join us under its generous light for a hike from Aquarius Open Space in Louisville. Led by Writer-in-Residence Erin Robertson, we’ll explore themes of harvest as we walk the Coal Creek Path into Lafayette and back. What in your life would you like to harvest in this season of plenty?
Expect a mellow hike of about 1.5-2 miles, roundtrip, along the Coal Creek Trail. We’ll have a chance to look and listen for the nocturnal residents of the creek: great horned owls, coyotes, turkeys and the last hardy crickets of summer.
