The Textures of Coal Creek is hanging in the Louisville Library’s Coal Creek Gallery through the end of August. Image by Steph George
How do you experience our urban creek? What senses must you engage to feel nature? We asked our artists-in-residence for their takes on how to define the natural space that defines our city.
Through the end of August, the work presented in the Louisville Library’s Coal Creek Gallery is their response. You’ll see the creek from high up, up close and in all seasons in an exhibition of photography, collage and poetry from Steph George, Erin Robertson, Geremy Kornreich and Jeff Goldberg.
Perhaps the grains of these textures will rub against you in some new and novel way and you’ll find inspiration, too. And if it does, won’t you leave your note on a leaf for us?
